MIssing songs on the playlist for Jan 15th. Online playlist skips a couple of great songs I’m trying to find. From 10:33 to 10:48am it jumps from EJ Madman to Cake. There was a Dave Mathews cover of “Time of the Season” and then a male/female duet. Sounded kind of like Sting. Can you send me the name and artists?

I wake up early on Sunday mornings only to listen to Acoustic Sunrise. It’s a refreshing change from the “norm” and I look forward to it all week. It would be nice if some of the songs played during Acoustic Sunrise are intermixed throughout the week with the studio versions of the songs.

It used to go on until 12:00 but seems to be ending now at 11:00. I’d be happy if it extended into the afternoon…I’m so much more productive during this show.

Yes I too would like for you to go back to your original &-7:00-12:00 format……it was excellent at that time, I can clean or just sit and drink coffee and listen……..why not return to what wasn’t broke?

I’m looking for the song name/artist that was played this past Sunday 4/10/11 between 10am and 10:30am. It was played just before a song by coldplay. I don’t remember specific lyrics, but the gist of the song was talking about living life to the fullest and really experiencing life. It was a really pretty, soft song with powerful lyrics. I would love to know where I can get a playlist of this past sunday’s acoustic sunrise songs. Thanks.

I would die a happy man if Acoustic Sunrise was available as a podcast–when I have to be somewhere and get up early on Sunday it’s amazing, but that’s my one day to sleep in most weeks!

Still, I love the station, you’re the first preset on my radio, and I listen all the time! :-) One of these days I’m going to catch you at a live event and get a t-shirt, I swear it!

Love the Acoustic Sunrise, and was wondering………………….Perhaps, a compilation disc, of Acoustic Sunrise selections?????……………………It’s very hard to find at times, the versions that you play, to add to my collection………………Maybe, a fundraiser disc, to benefit a local charity, or a RECURRING fundraiser, every couple of months, with a different Acoustic Sunrise disc……………………………….At the very LEAST, please, a playlist of Acoustic Sunrise, every weekend, with the album info, perhaps??????………………………That way, I could track the tunes down, and purchase a download as needed………………
I still think a benefit disc, offered by Dave.Fm, would be the best deal…………………………Think of the publicity it would garner……………………….Are you listening, Marketing?????……
Keep up the good work!!!

Chuck

Friday’s are great but I love to wake up on Sunday mornings and turn on Acoustic Sunrise, it usually does wonders for my sex life.

My only problem is when I go to davefm.com and try to look up the last song played in the little green rectangle on the right, the area is blank and clicking does nothing. Do you know how this could be? Some times the area is fine. It comes up and I love it. I, myself, suspect operator error but don’t tell no body.

Thanks, Love Your Station!

    June 29, 2010 6:51 pm

I check the what song was that site from sunday 1015a-1045a
It was male vocals…not at all familiar.
None of the songs from the what song was that were close, so i am clueless.
Maybe another time in the future :(

I got up early to start my day with the acoustic sunrise, only to discover that in Chicago[central time zone] the show starts at 8.I was pondering litigation concerning the hour of acoustical delights denied me,but have reconsidered due to the fact that todays show started with an hours worth of the Grateful Dead. All is forgiven.

I heard a song this morning that I loved but I never caught who the artist or song title was… All I remember is that part of the lyrics read “Tomorrow I’ll be out of my mind….”. Can anyone let me know what song that was? It was between 9:45-10:10 I think…..

I LOVE to get up early sunday morn and have a cup of coffee on my screen porch and listenin to the awsome music you play. I wish you played this on saturdays still. I have to say that during the week you have all of a sudden started playing WAY to much u2 and police/sting. I can count on this EVERY morning during my ride to work BOOHOOO.But thanks for the acoustic :)

Is there an acoustic version of El Paso. The Dead used to play it and Bobby plays it with Ratdog or whatever band he’s currently touring with

The list of songs played seem to lag 2-3 days behind. Is this normal? Also are the Acoustic Sunrise tracks 7am-12am listed on the playlist? Thanks Looking for what was played 4/18/2010 sunday about 7-:730 am.

Where are you looking up the songs? It shouldn’t lag if it’s automatically generated. If that’s the case, we will need to contact the software company we use. If it’s a playlist that someone has to type that would be something we should know too, so we can speed it up.

I love this show. And I’ve had trouble trying to find music from various shows using the playlist thing – I hear so many great songs on the lunchtime show and this one in my car, and then try to look them up to buy them and can’t. Keep up the great work, I really love Acoustic Sunrise, and the lunch show continually cracks me up.

    It’s actually Jeff Buckley.

      April 7, 2010 9:10 am

I own the Jeff Buckley version and I love it. I’ve heard another one that I swear isn’t him and it sounds so much like Freddie Mercury… But thank you so much for responding.

Hmm… The only one we play is the Buckley version. I may have played the Leonard Cohen original on Dave After Tomorrow but not on Acoustic Sunrise.

This is my all time favorite radio show- not just on your station, but on any radio station. I’m only disappointed when you play sports instead. Maybe reschedule it during sports season?

THANK YOU for playing such variety. I honestly thought I would never hear some of my favorite music on the radio. This morning I heard Neil Young’s “Out on The Weekend”….truly amazing. Thank you, thank you. Music is what gets me through everything life brings and through life itself.
