Inside Eddie’s Attic

INSIDE EDDIE’S ATTIC

Every Sunday at 8pm.

929 dave-fm and vitaminwater present Inside Eddie’s Attic – an hour-long on-air presentation of some of the best live music performances from within this historic local music venue.  Founder Eddie Owen is your host.

Eddie’s Attic, located in Decatur, is a local music venue that’s served as a springboard for an amazing number of local artists who have gone on to receive national recognition – names like John Mayer, Sugarland and Shawn Mullins.  The list of nationally known talents who have played this stage is also impressive – dave fm artists like Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, The Black Crowes, Kevin Kenny and Edwin McCain, to name a few.

Check back Sunday night after the show for a full playlist!

929 dave fm – a proud supporter of the local music scene.

Just looked at Eddie’s website and the last was in October of 2011. My mistake. I really like the shows but most of the time when I am listening I am in the car so a playlist would be great s I can do exactly what they are trying to do and support local musicians. Love the show but please start posting current playlists.

Since they won’t update the playlist and the most recent I have found is 9/25/11, to all that listened last night, what is the guys/band name that did the last song of the night and what was the name of it. This is starting to piss me off. I wish they would update the playlist to at least the current year.

I am trying to figure out what the song/artist was that was played at 8:27 PM this past Sunday, 2/5/12. I can’t find a playlist from this past Sunday or a number to call to get the information. It was a female vocalist and some of the words were: Angel on my shoulder but the devils got the wheel, some things I earn, some things I steal, Danger most of all….

I would really appreciate if anyone knows who the artist and what the title is! Many Thanks.

…can’t find the playlist from 10/23/11…you played a song it was the 2nd one after your comments about Ed Roland…The artist was from NC I believe would love the name of the song to purchase. You compared him to Jackson Brown but darker, moody.

Dear Eddie’s Attic,

Do you sell tickets for your concerts at the door? I would love to still be able to see Alexi Murdoch next Thursday, but advanced tickets are sold out.

Also, I would love to hear him on Dave fm.

Also, I’m sorry for inquiring about this on this forum.

Also, I’m desperate.

Also, I love you.

Thanks,
Swathi

Please stop trying to paint the picture for me before I hear the artist. I want to hear the artist.
Not a view (through your lens) of the artist.
Name, Where they came from, What genre is more than sufficient.

I think its great you started the attic and book music. Let us hear the music and form our own opinions. Stop trying to shape it before hand. Please.

Just my .02 cents.

Have a good one…

    Hi Kelly,

We used to record open mic performances only for the performers, but we just started partnering with Fargotube.com to post past open mic shows. We do not have a recording of Mary Scholz’s open mic performance.

We do, however, archive our past “Inside Eddie’s Attic” shows on our website at:

Stay tuned at 92.9 daveFM on Sundays at 8pm!

    Thanks!

I need need NEED to find some way to purchase a copy of that Cliff Eberhardt song (That Kind of Love) that was played last night (10/31/10). The album upon which it was released is out of print. Great song…

We don’t have the song. Eddie’s Attic has the rights to the performance.
