Big Show for Little Voices: Creed’s Story
Creed Campbell (Photo by CHOA)
Born prematurely, Creed Campbell spent the first 91 days of his life in the hospital. Now, at just 7 years old, he has already been hospitalized more than 25 times.
Babies and Children of Children’s…Complications from a blood and marrow transplant (BMT) required a seven-month hospitalization, and Creed spent three of those months in the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
During his most recent visit to Children’s, Creed faced two emergency episodes that required resuscitation.
These trials have not daunted this brave boy, and Creed’s infectious spirit and incredible courage have earned him the respect of the staff at Children’s, who have given him the nickname “Increedable.”
